BURJ KHALIFA Dubai

Introduction:

Developed cities are attracting tourism through building structure. It is known as development and structural tourism. Dubai decided to build the tallest building in 2004. The name of that building was Burj Dubai. They change the name later as BURJ KHALIFA. Building is located in Dubai downtown near the Dubai mall. It is tallest structure on the earth made by human efforts and technology. It is unique art of engineering which amaze the worlds. Sheikh zayed is connecting road heading toward this state of the art building.

Description:

This is business, hotel, restaurant, office and apartment residential tower. This giant building is designed, made and invested by the EMMAR properties. This group gain worth in the properties and construction industries. Many land mark are constructed by this group including Dubai mall, which is in the dock of Dubai mall. BURJ KHALIFA is designed by the famous construction designing firm Skidmore, Owings & Merrill. In nature BURJ KHALIFA is skyscraper. The construction of this huge building started in 21^st September 2004. The construction took around six years; it was completed in opened in 4^th January 2010. One hundred sixty two floors are managed by this tower, which has the length of 829.84 meters. A Korean company Samsung work with the EMMAR group to turn the dreams into reality. The Belgian group BESIX and UAE's ARABTEC were the major sub-contractors.

Solution and construction:

Many engineers from different scope and background worked on the planning and construction of this building. This building was completed with 1325 days from the excavation in 2004 to opening in 2010. The total concrete used in the construction is 11000 tons which has 45000 cubic metres in mass. During the construction this building earns the record in 2007, when 150 stories where completed, were called the tallest free standing building. The excavation more than fifty meter deep in found filled with more than 192 piles of concrete and steal. It also earn the record of tallest man made structure when 160 floor were completed.

UAE personal element:

Dubai earns millions of tourist and investment due to this building. It became the land mark and signature building for Dubai. Many people know Dubai due to this land mark on earth. This building is hosting many life facilities which a person can imagine in the luxuries life. Visitors are adding revenue in the city pocket by visiting this building each day. On an average one lac people are visiting Dubai mall and BURJ KHALIFA in each single day.  There are around 900 residence suits which are hosting and wining many business personal and high profile people around the world. Offices of this building are winning many international business deals for Dubai and United Arab Emirates.

Advantage:

Conclusion:

Visiting Dubai without visiting BURJ KHALIFA is incomplete. It is signature of Dubai in construction industry. The skyscraper building of Dubai is sighted even kilometre away from the city. It set new trend in construction history and industry. Dubai and tagged as the new urban masterpiece, surpassing limits and expectations. The sensational looks of the building hold the eyes of visitors for hours. City gain the international recognition due to this wonderful man made structure in the heart of Dubai.
